The Oaks faced their toughest opponent of the season today, the Blue Ox rugby club from the cities.

This last week was a bye week for Carleton which in addition to providing a well-needed rest, but was also instructive. 

The match between Macalester and Carleton proved to be an exciting match for fans of Carleton Rugby.  Carleton opened the first half in a blitzkrieg-like fashion, scoring two trys in the first four minutes of play. 

This weekend saw the clash of cross-town rivals, St. Olaf and Carleton of the pitch behind the Rec.  Both teams played with intensity, each looking to exploit the holes in the other team's line.

This week the men's team worked hard in their quest for a great season.  The practices were full of intensity yet were also able to clue the rookies into how to play the game of rugby…
