Synthesis, purification and spectroscopic characterization of transition-metal complexes with an emphasis on methods for preparing and handling air-sensitive compounds. One laboratory per week. Corequisite: Chemistry 351. Prerequisite: Concurrent or previous registration in Chemistry 351
