Vehicle and Parking Regulations

Motor Vehicles and Parking (ext. 4437)

All student motor vehicles, including students living off-off, are required to be registered with Security Services. Applications are available in the Security Services office, Sayles-Hill 205.

IF you have already registered your vehicle please move it into its assigned parking lot by 7 AM on Thursday, January 3, 2008. If you have not received an assigned parking space, you should move your vehicle into either the Stadium or Recreation Center lot (in spaces other than those designated for faculty, staff, and visitor parking) AND register your vehicle with Security Services immediately.

STUDENT OWNED/OPERATED VEHICLES PARKED ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THEIR ASSIGNED PARKING LOT WILL BE SUBJECT TO FINE/TOW!

It is the responsibility of all students who bring a motor vehicle to Northfield to be aware of the motor vehicle policies and regulations. The Student Motor Vehicle Policy can be found at http://apps.carleton.edu/campus/dos/handbook/policies/?policy_id=21723

*Also, please note that the City of Northfield Winter Parking Ban (No parking on City streets between 2 am-6 am, snow or no snow) is in effect until March 15. Violators are subject to a parking fine of $50.00

Thank you for your cooperation.
