Encryption in Mulberry for Mac

Open Mulberry.

Go to File > Preferences.

From the Preferences window, click the ‘Advanced’ option.

The screen will automatically be in the ‘Accounts’ tab.

Check that the account is set to ‘IMAP’. This is for incoming mails.

Under the Secure menu, check the option for STARTTLS – TLSv1. Setting this prevents your password passing unencrypted across the network.

Change Account to ‘SMTP’. This is for outgoing mails.

Again, under the Secure menu, check the option for STARTTLS – TLSv1.

Click Save Default.

Then press OK.
