Setting up printer options
After setting the printer to IP print, the coordinators may require you to setup duplex printing (printing on both sides of the paper). This option is not enabled by default, although many of printers have the ability to duplex. Ask a coordinator or print the config sheet from the printer to see if duplexing can/should be enabled. First, right click on the printer you would like to setup and select properties. In the printer properties screen, scroll down the installable options. There should be a drop down box that allows you to “duplex unit (for two sided printing)” to installed. After you are done, click apply and then ok. If the professor or coordinator wants to default to duplexing, right click on the printer again and select “printing preferences”. Click on “Flip to Long End” under the duplex section of the menu. All done.
