Energy and water consumption data for campus buildings now online

August 4, 2009 at 8:39 am
By Elissa Brown

Want to know how much electricity your favorite building on campus used in March 2007? Now you can look it up online!

Data for energy consumption (in kwh, ccf, btu, and sometimes $) and water consumption (in cu ft) of all campus buildings has been compiled into one easy-to-view spreadsheet. Each building has its own sheet in the Excel file, and also its own page on the Sustainability Site with further information about the building's size and use.

Data goes back to 2006 (when available) and will be updated every couple months. Keep track of your building's usage, live more sustainably, and watch the results!
