If your phone is not working, try the following steps:

1. Try your phone in your neighbor’s telephone jack.
2. Try your neighbor’s phone in your telephone jack.
3. If you determine that the problem is with your telephone equipment, bring it to the Telecom Office in Laird 6 for an exchange. Unplug your desk phone from the wall jack and make sure you bring all cords with. We will repair or replace the phone and/or cords.
4. If the malfunction is due to abuse of any of the parts, or if any of the phone parts are missing, you will be charged for the replacement parts.

There is no charge for a normal repair. If the malfunction is due to abuse, the people responsible will be charged for the repairs. The charge for a phone set is $45.00.
