Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I go if I have a disability and need accommodations?

All students with disabilities must register with Disability Services for Students before accommodations can be granted. Proper documentation is required. Disability Services for Students is housed in The Wellness Center and can be reached at 507-222-4080. For further information please view the Academic Accommodations page of our website.

If you are on medication for ADHD or another documented disability and need refills while you are at Carleton, you need to make an appointment with one of The Wellness Center staff members who can clear you to meet with our consulting psychiatrist. He will review your case and write prescriptions to be filled in Northfield. We request that you have your home provider send us records regarding your diagnosis/progress and treatment program before you make an appointment at The Wellness Center (fax to: 507-222-5038.) Receiving records in advance is very helpful in providing a seamless continuum of care.
