Position Description
The CA staff serves as a bridge between the Career Center and students, offices, and departments. CAs advise students about researching occupations, finding internships, summer jobs, and shadowing experiences; resumes; majors and grad school/job search activities. CAs design and host information sessions, outreach activities and employer meetings; collaborate with other student leaders; develop and implement marketing strategies; and advise students individually and in small groups.
Positions are paid through work-study and are available for either 8 or 10 hours per week.
Application Process
All students in good academic standing are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to students who have some prior knowledge of the Career Center and its resources, and who have participated in Career Center events and programs.
Recruitment will take place during the winter/spring terms of each school year. Application information will be in the "tunnel" recruiting system.
