Statistics from a class of 2006 Career Center survey indicate that by six months after graduation:
- Roughly 60% of seniors had accepted a job, while
- 18% had been accepted in programs for further study, and
- 22% reported “Other Plans” which included seeking employment, not seeking employment, and travel.
Graduating seniors were employed in a variety of areas and locations. Of those who reported being employed, the top five areas in which graduates found jobs were, in descending order:
- Business/Commerce (10%)
- Education (9.5 %)
- Education/Abroad (6%)
- Science (5.8%), and
- Computers (4%)
