THINKING ABOUT LAW SCHOOL?

Are you thinking about becoming a lawyer?
Are you interested in what a law school class might be like?

Professor Jerry Organ of the University of St. Thomas School of Law will be hosting a "Mock Law Class" on Thursday, October 24, from 4:00-5:00 in Leighton 304.  The class will be conducted just like one of Professor Organ's property classes and will focus on the United States Supreme Court's decision in Kelo v. City of New London.

Those interested in attending should RSVP to Andrea Kubinski -- akubinski@carleton.edu -- to receive the reading materials.  You should plan on spending 30-45 minutes reading through the materials prior to the Mock Class and should come prepared to participate.  Professor Organ, a nationally-recognized expert on legal education and the legal profession, will stay after the Mock Class until 5:30 or so to answer questions about law school generally and about the University of St. Thomas School of Law specifically.

Food and beverages will be served.
