Effective career preparation starts with clarity about your skills, values and interests.  Your interests suggest a lot about what career fields and educational programs you might enjoy.

  • To be more clear about your interests and make confident decisions about career fields and courses(as well as co-curricular activities), we invite you to take the iStartStrong assessment online.
  • Once you’ve taken the inventory (291 simple questions about what you like to do, which most people complete online in about 30 minutes), you’ll attend an Interest Inventory Results Meeting (on May 10 at 11 in  CMC 110) and get a personalized 8-page results report and links to additional information about career areas and engagement activities that will give you the tools you need to begin to actively plan for your future.

Students must pre-register; open to first 20 who sign up on the Tunnel by May 8. After logging onto the Tunnel, click the "Events" tab and then the "Workshops" subtab. Scroll down until you find this event and then click the RSVP button. If all slots are filled you will be able to click a "Waitlist" button and will be notified if a slot opens up.
