Law School Admissions 101 (with Univ of Michigan Dean of Admissions)

Thu, October 27, 2016 • 6:00pm - 7:00pm (1h) • Leighton 402

Workshop: Thurs. Oct. 27th, 6pm, Leighton 402

Join the University of Michigan Law School's admissions dean for a realistic look at how applications are reviewed. We'll review actual law school application materials and debate their merits. You'll learn what works, and what doesn't, in the competitive law school admissions process.

Carleton parent, and Dean of Admissions at the University of Michigan Law School, Sarah Zearfoss P'16 will be on-campus to give a 'Law School Admissions 101' workshop. 'Dean Z' has overseen all aspects of admissions at Michigan Law for more than 15 years, and has read more than 75,000 applications. She is also a 1992 graduate of Michigan Law, and oversees the Offices of Career Planning and Financial Aid. If you are interested, but not sure about law school, we highly encourage you to attend this session.

RSVP via the Tunnel.  (On the Tunnel, click on the Events/Info Sessions tab and RSVP under 'University of Michigan Law School').
