Staff from UnitedHealth Group & Optum will be on-campus to talk about various Tech opportunities within UHG & Optum.

Panelists include:

• Sam Hinh ’16 – TDP Experience
  Current Role: Software Developer.
  Create new features for our Data Fabric team which stores and enriches medical data for analysis. Part of the TDP program, which is a great way to explore the cooperate world and to see how all the pieces play together.
• Syed Faisal Abbas – Security/Infrastructure
  Current Position: IT Security Consultant

  My current responsibilities:  Responsible for Database and Platform Security Audit  and address Compliance requirements. Identify and analyze security risks and recommend solutions; coordinate security audits with external auditors and application teams.  

  Previous Positions held at UHG:  IT Security Consultant (2012-2015); IT Security Analyst (2009-2012)

  Previous responsibilities: Managed platform Audit; Responsible for requirements gathering and implementation of Security Access provisioning and Auditing system; Worked with businesses in developing user provisioning, gap analysis, and process improvements.

• Kyle Leduc – Security (TDP Class 5)
  Current role: security analyst. I create automatic alerting which will notify the necessary personnel when a potential security threat has occurred.

  Past roles: Graduate of TDP program. Have worked as a database administrator and security analyst (on 2 different teams).

• Renee Vevea - Data Analytics
  Current Position: – Client Engagement, Enablement & Operations, DACO/uHUB/Big Data Solutions Teams

  What positions you have held in the past and what you do today: Program Manager, Best Buy, Sr Business Project Manager, Target; Sr Online Marketing Manager, US Bank

  At Optum, I manage client engagement and operations for the DACO/uHUB team and am responsible for training and communications for the broader Big Data Solutions team.

• Joel Sticha – Application Development (TDP Class 5)
• Randy Olinger – Big Data
  Current Position: Enterprise Architecture – I work with business and technology teams to facilitate optimal designs and solve problems.

  Past Roles: Director, Manager, Test systems Engineer, Application Developer, Database Administrator.

• Kim Spence - IT Manager/IT Business Operations & Finance, TDP Program (tentative panelist)
