She was able to secure this traditional internship experience through good old-fashioned networking and some nice connections between Ernst and Young and Carleton.

    In our first installment of a short series, "Guess What I Did This Summer," Vayu Rekdal '15 recounts his internship experience at the world-renowned food and science research center Fundacion Alicia in Spain. His experience was funded through a CREDO fellowship and his application process was supported by the career center. Rekdal is the president and founder of Carleton's first and only cooking club, Firebellies.

    Update on Career Center Staffing

    In November the Career Center bid hail and farewell to Director Richard Berman, who accepted the position of Director of Career Services at Oberlin College and Conservatory in Ohio. We thank Richard for all his contributions and congratulate him on this wonderful new opportunity. Carleton is now preparing for a national search for a new director. During this transition, Associate Director Brent "Rex" Nystrom '92 will serve as the Interim Director.
