Students spend a half or full day at work with alumni or parent volunteers. This program will be piloted during spring break 2012.

Alumni provide:

• half or full day of general job shadowing at workplace
• general information about specific job/company
• tour of workplace
• opportunity for an informational interview
• typical “day in the life” of specific job

Why it’s helpful:

• general insight about specific job/company/sector of work
• opportunity to network/gain professional contact
• opportunity to conduct informational interview
• self-presentation and interpersonal skills
