Men’s Basketball continues turnaround with pair of wins
Scott Theisen ‘13 matched his career high with 23 points, including a career-best 5 three-pointers, to lead the Carleton College men’s basketball team to its second straight victory, this one a 73-64 triumph over visiting Macalester College.
Men: strong sophomores succeed
“Who said anything about a slump?” demanded Marcus Huderle ‘14 as he cooled down from the mile. “I don’t see any slumping here.”
Women: fair well at multiple meets
A three-way split squad equals thrice the fun, right? Well, the Knights did just fine in that situation. Last weekend, the women’s track team competed at MSU-Mankato and St. Olaf, achieving excellent marks at both venues. On Friday night, the contingent of Simone Childs-Walker ’12, Alison Smyth ’12 and Taylor Fitch ’12 took on the University of Minnesota and some Division II schools.
