The Carleton College men’s golf team faced off against cross-town rivals St. Olaf in the annual “Rusty Putter” match at Willingers Golf Club on Saturday. The dual meet involved three events: best-ball, alternate shot, and scramble formats.
The Carleton College men’s track and field team had four All-Conference performances on day two of the MIAC Championships. Leading the way was Marcus Huderle ‘14, who successfully defended his steeplechase crown with a winning time of 9:23.95.
Ruth Steinke ‘16 grabbed the spotlight for the Carleton College women’s track and field team as she won the steeplechase at the MIAC Outdoor Championships and established a new personal best time of 11:18.27.
Hayden Tsutsui ‘16 burst onto the stage this season as he batted .462—the sixth-highest figure among all NCAA players (Division I, II, and III)—and ranked among conference leaders in nearly all statistical categories.
The Carleton College women’s tennis team took an early lead during doubles en route to a 5-1 victory over Grinnell College in the opening round of the NCAA Championships.
