Football Defeated by Gustavus Adolphus
Despite another impressive showing from quarterback Mike Hartwell ‘13, the Carleton College football team dropped its home finale to Gustavus Adolphus College by a score of 41-27.
Women Face Tough Competition
Less than 18 hours after hosting its first home meet of the season, the Carleton College women’s swimming and diving team was back in the water for the Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic.
Klontz Sets Pool Record
Erik Klontz ‘13 won the 50-yard freestyle race with a time of 21.04, then came back later and broke the Skoglund Pool record at that distance with a time of 20.98 as the leadoff leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay at the Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Classic, an unscored meet.
Men’s Soccer Goes to NCAA Tournament After Losing MIAC Playoffs
Despite a raucous student showing and outshooting the Gusties 19-8 over the course of the MIAC playoff final, the Men’s Soccer team were stopped in their quest to secure the MIAC playoff championship last Saturday at Bell Field.
