The Eppley Foundation for Research provides support for post-doctoral work in the physical and biological sciences, computer science, social sciences, and educational programs. The Foundation does not usually support areas where there is is considerable funding from conventional sources, such as cancer research, DNA research, cardiovascular and HIV/AIDS research.

The Eppley Foundation for Research does not maintain a website. Applicants should write to the foundation secretary outlining the nature of the project, materials and equipment required, and possible applications of the work. A budget and curriculum vitae must be enclosed.
