Linda Rossi, Associate Professor of Art and Art History, received a $5,800 Artist Initiative Grant through the Minnesota State Arts Board to fund a collaborative installation with Fred Hagstrom, Rae Schupack Nathan Professor of Art. The installation at Augsburg College reflects on the historical use of visual aids in the science classroom.

Gao Hong Dice, Lecturer in Chinese Musical Instruments, was awarded $6,000 to research Chinese Hong Yao music and compose choir music for the World Expo 2010 in China.
