Risk Management
Effective risk management identifies threats, controls loss, protects against injury and takes appropriate action to ensure legal compliance in academic civic engagement experiences. Please speak with the Academic Civic Engagement Coordinator to discuss the feasibility of any projects.
The four basic steps for risk management are:
- Acknowledge and identify risks
- Select risk management tools
- Evaluate and prioritize risks
- Evaluate results and revise strategies
