Summer Internships
1. HECUA is pleased to announce twenty paid summer internship opportunities in the nonprofit sector as a part of the Partners Internship Program. The Partners Internship Program provides grants to nonprofits to hire paid student interns for the summer. Students make a significant contribution to the organization through a focused project at the internship site, while gaining valuable insight and work experience in the nonprofit sector.
The deadline for students to apply is April 13th.

2. Carleton’s Social Justice Internship Program was established in 2007 to provide financial support to students pursuing unpaid or low-paying summer internships or training programs in not-for profit or other organizations promoting social justice.
Examples of qualifying internships/training programs include work in human rights, community or union organizing, environmental or social activism, conflict resolution, or community development. Preference will be given to organizations within the United States. The program is operated through Carleton’s Career Center and the Chaplain's Office.
The grants, up to $3000, are awarded competitively by a selection committee. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to and involvement in social or environmental justice work. Students from all class years are eligible, including graduating seniors. Prior to the internship, students will participate in 3-4 reflection meetings where they will read and discuss articles on service and social justice to help them prepare for their summer work.
