Traveling by airplane

  • If you are flying into Minneapolis, the Associate Dean's Office will make arrangements with Care Tenders shuttle service to handle ground transportation. If there is a problem with your flight, please contact Care Tenders directly at 612-483-3361. (Note: Pick up will be in ground transportation--in the limousine parking area. Look for a white or silver van marked "Care Tenders"). Register on the registration page to confirm your interest in using these services.
  • Rental cars from all major companies are available at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport.

Traveling by Car:

Directions from I-35W to Highway 19 East (exit 69, Northfield exit).

  • Drive east on Highway 19 for 7 miles to Northfield.
  • At the first stoplight (where Highway 19 meets Highway 3), turn left onto Highway 3 north. Go to the next stop sign and turn right onto Second Street (following Highway 19).
  • Follow Second Street up the hill two blocks to College Street, turn left. The location of the reception, dinner, and Saturday morning events is one block into the College proper on College Street. Enter the Sayles-Hill Campus Center on the left - the building with large white columns. Walk straight into this building and follow the hallway around to the left. You will walk directly into the Severance Great Hall. Parking is available along College Street in front of Sayles-Hill.

Parking:

Cars may be parked in the lots adjacent to the Sayles-Hill Campus Center or on city streets, as posted, adjacent to the campus.

Hotel:

The Associate Dean of the College Office will make reservations for you at the Country Inn in Northfield. A limited number of rooms are being held for the conference. To guarantee a room, please register by September 1, 5 p.m.
