Carleton and Northfield Historical Society Present Inaugural Jesse James Film Festival

In collaboration with the Northfield Historical Society, Carleton is pleased to host screenings of the first annual Jesse James Film Festival. All showings will be in the Weitz Center for Creativity Cinema and are free and open to the public (although donations are appreciated). For more information, please contact the Historical Society.

The films and show times are:

  • Thursday, July 31 at 7 p.m.: "The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid" (1972), rated PG
  • Sunday, August 10 at 2 p.m.: Roy Rogers double feature: "Jesse James at Bay" (1941) and "Days of Jesse James" (1939), both rated G
  • Thursday, August 14 at 7 p.m.: "The Long Riders" (1980), rated R
  • Thursday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m.: "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" (2007), rated R
