March 4, 2013Stephen Mohring, Associate Professor of Art, designed the set for Ten Thousand Things' recent production of Measure for Measure and for The Seven. Mohring will present a talk about Carleton College's Sustainable Crafts Program at the College of William & Mary on March 21 before the opening of 'arboreal,' a solo show of his sculpture, March 21 through April 18.

MIA & ACTC Graduate and Undergraduate Art History Symposium
November 15, 2012The Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) will jointly host a day-long symposium for emerging art historians in the Twin Cities on April 13, 2013.
Each participating college/university is invited to select one undergraduate (plus a graduate student for those institutions with graduate art history programs) to present ongoing research that is related, in some way, to an artwork or collection of works in the permanent collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
