The Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) will jointly host a day-long symposium for emerging art historians in the Twin Cities on April 13, 2013.
Each participating college/university is invited to select one undergraduate (plus a graduate student for those institutions with graduate art history programs) to present ongoing research that is related, in some way, to an artwork or collection of works in the permanent collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

Associate Professor of Art, Stephen Mohring served as a juror for "small Works," an exhibition at the Northfield Arts Guild in late summer. Tim Lloyd, Class of 1941 Professor of Art and the Liberal Arts, Emeritus, had work included in the exhibition.
