Katie presented a paper at the annual Association of Asian Studies Conference in Toronto, Canada, March 15 through 18. The paper, "Toward a Study of Ming Textiles as Cultural History: Challenges and Possible New Directions," was part of the panel "Seeing Through Chinese Textiles and Costume," and is part of a major collaborative project to research and publish the Chinese textile collection at the Royal Ontario Museum.
