Off-Campus Study | New Media: New York & Europe
Cinema & Media Studies offered an Off-Campus Study program in the fall of 2006, the weblog of which may be reviewed here. Students explored and produced new media for ten weeks in New York, London, Amsterdam and Berlin. The next edition of the program is in the spring of 2009. Link
Camera/Iraq
Created by Prof. Schott and Carleton students, this site is a portal for information and opinion on image practices in the Middle East. The Public Journalism Network wrote: "Camera/Iraq is a site every journalist, academic, and citizen interested in photojournalism should be watching." Although the project is no longer active, the site contains one of the web's most comprehensive repository of commentary in the wake of Abu Ghraib. Link
