About

The Media Lab is an advanced video and audio production facility that features high-end hardware and software for media creation. CAMS students use the Sony PD-170 DVCAM for video accquisition and mini disc recoders for field audio recording. The Media Lab includes a wide range of professional microphones, portable lighting and camera support equipment.

Tools

Video post-production tools include:

• Final Cut Pro
• DVD Studio Pro
• After Effects
• Motion

Audio post production is on Digidesign's Pro Tools.

Access

Students enrolled in Cinema & Media Studies classes have first priority for Media Lab tools and facilities, but other students working on advanced projects as part of their classwork are welcome to use the Lab with permission. Let's make media!
