<title>Summer Research Opportunities at Carleton</title>
<description>It's not too early to start thinking about summer....and summer research opportunities in the Computer Science Department.  We will be posting a tentative list of research projects in mid-December, along with information about applying for these opportunities. In addition, this year we have a new joint program in conjunction with the Physics Department, the Clare Boothe Luce Research Scholars Program, with a deadline of January 15, 2010.</description>

<description>Josh Aas, who works at Mozilla, will be visiting the Carleton CS department on Wednesday, October 21, during 2a. He'll be in the CS Lounge (CMC 307) to talk to students individually or in small groups about Mozilla, his work there, and the kinds of things that Mozilla is doing these days. He can talk about Mozilla's development process (tools, communication); Gecko's architecture; NPAPI plugin architecture, challenges and future directions; and other things that you're interested in.
