Welcome to New CS Majors & Comps Announcement
On Tuesday, April 21, we will be having a meeting for the computer science majors. This will be a meeting to welcome the new majors, announce next year's comps topics, and have a chance to mingle and get to know your fellow majors. Please join us at 4:30 p.m. in CMC 206.

Computer Science Lunch Table
Join us for the Hashtable: the Computer Science Department's lunch table. We'll meet in the LDC Shearer Dining Room from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14. Professors, majors, and any student enrolled in a CS course are invited. Come socialize with your fellow majors and profs! Contact Sue Jandro for a meal ticket if you would like to attend and you are not on a board plan.

Job Opportunity with Numerica
Numerica is a small high-tech company in Loveland, Colorado looking to hire graduates with a strong background in mathematics and computer science. Their core technology is in tracking and data fusion. The main problems to be solved there include various flavors of the assignment problem, which boils down to combinatorial optimization, and issues in filtering and estimation theory. Summer Intern Opportunity for CS Grads
AuSIM Inc. is a software company out of California owned by a Carleton graduate and looking for a summer intern. Skills needed are: strong coding skills, fundamental understanding and interest in physics, and a strong sense of the engineering methods. Clarkson University International Collegiate Programming Contest will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009, on the Clarkson University campus, in Posdam, New York.
