Gearworks is Hiring
Carleton computer science alum Rob Juncker is co-founder and CTO of Gearworks, which is located in Eagan, MN. He tells us that they have an open software engineering position which is specifically intended for someone with 0-2 years of experience, and he asked us to inform current Carleton CS seniors. The Carleton Career Center tells us that the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium (of which we are a member) is hosting a large networking event for students and alumni at the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars. The event will be on July 31, and Carleton can enroll 18 students. Click above for more information.

Career Center Events
The Carleton Career Center is sponsoring two events that they've asked us to make sure that you know about. The director of the Career Center (Richard Berman) will be delivering a workshop on self-presentation in interviews, to be held on Tuesday, April 22, from 7-8 pm, in Sayles-Hill 251. A meeting will also be held for all juniors interested in applying for a national fellowship/scholarship, such as Churchill, Cooke, DAAD, Fulbright, Javits, Liebmann, Marshall, Rhodes, Soros, and Watson. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 29, at 8 pm, in Olin 141.

The Sentinel has received the following job ad: "Northfield company wants to overhaul its website (esp. integrate with marketing plan) and would like to hire students who can work full-time this summer. Work is with consultant and in-house staff.
