George Shuffelton brought an amazing cake to the final meeting of his Chaucer class this spring. For the last few years, Northfield’s Quality Bakery has created a “Canterbury Cathedral Cake” with the help of its skillful decorators and a picture postcard of the cathedral itself. The class was delighted with this year’s edition and stayed around to devour the cake, chat, and say goodbye to their classmates and the school year.
