Every Carleton academic department has a reception for its graduating majors and their families the day before Commencement. This year's gathering for the English, American Studies, and Media Studies departments was held on Friday, June 10, on first-floor Laird because of rain. Luckily, the skies cleared and everyone flocked to the porch and stairs where many of these photos were taken.
