The SDAs are always available to current and perspective majors to answer questions and give a student perspective on the major itself or Carleton academics in general. They are knowledgeable about class sequences, professors, and course content, and are also often involved in the planning of major-wide events and department t-shirts. Appointments may be arranged via email, but SDAs also hold office hours throughout the term, especially during registration to aid in scheduling decisions.
