The Four Foci

All students majoring in environmental studies must choose an area of specialization, or focus. To complete a focus, a student must take two courses in the natural sciences and two non-science courses. Taking courses both in the sciences and in other disciplines gives students an in-depth, interdisciplinary understanding of one area of environmental studies.  The four foci are listed below.
