We would like to invite people from your programs at Carleton College to join us for a weekend with Will Allen at the Women's Environmental Institute, the Growing Power Regional Outreach Training Center for Minnesota and the upper Midwest. We are hosting Will Allen, the CEO of Growing Power (www.growingpower.org), and his staff to present a Growing Power Urban/Rural Farm Training Weekend at the end of September, and we would like to share information about the weekend with faculty, staff and students at Carleton who are interested in Environmental and Food Justice, Sustainable Agriculture or other related Environmental Studies topics. We think our Growing Power Training Weekend would be of great interest to those who would like to gain practical, hands-on training in how to create sustainable, healthy local food sources.

The workshop is Sept. 24 & 25.  If you want to attend, please contact Kim Smith by Sept 12.  There may be limited funds available from ENTS to support this trip.
