Science Teacher Manual Designed for visiting Elementary Students By: Sarah Leibson & Kristin O'Connell The activities are geared towards a 3rd grade level; however they can be adjusted to fit multiple age levels at the leader’s discretion. The length of time given for each activity is an estimation and is highly dependent on group size and number of leaders. Make sure to leave enough time for each activity. Familiarize yourself with the activities PRIOR to student arrival!! Materials not provided in the manual are available through the science departments or at the local grocery store. Please leave any suggestions for any improvements to the activities in the Mudd 71 copy. |
