French Activites & Events

Parish HouseFrench students at Carleton have been extremely active in extracurricular pursuits. The department sponsors an active French House (directed by a native speaker), a French table in the LDC every Tuesday and Thursday 12-1 pm, a French radio show, and a good number of French film showings. We also organize excursions to the Twin Cities to see plays, films and special exhibits of French artists.

French House is located in Parish House, a block and a half from campus. Coline Maestracci, the 2011-2012 French Associate, lives here and organizes activities for all students studying French on campus. Feel free to contact her for any questions or suggestions at x5892 or cmaestracc@carleton.edu.
