Remembering Paxton Harvieux

Paxton Harvieux with Prof. Sigi Leonhard

Paxton Harvieux '15 was one of three Carleton students killed in an accident on February 28, 2014. Paxton was an enthusiastic student of German and participated in the German in Berlin program in fall 2013.

Sarah LeBlanc '15 wrote this remembrance of Paxton:

"I've known very few people who had such a passion for something as Paxton had for music. Anyone who knew him knew that music was his favorite thing. He told me recently when we were talking about internships that his dream internship would be to work with Soundcloud in Germany. He kept saying how perfect it would be—music and German. During vacations I would ask what he was doing and the answer was almost always the same—working on his music."
