The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program, Institute for Humane Studies. Paid internships at this public policy organization in Washington, D.C. Application deadline: February 15.

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation Internships

The Corwin House, aka The Witch House, part of the Park and Recreation Department in Salem, Massachusetts invites you to apply by mail or fax for 3-month internship, and offers a small number of $1000 stipends. Interests in American history, art history, architectural history, theater, and American literature are helpful. All majors will be considered. Applications are accepted all year long. Please send a resume and cover letter. Applicants for stipended internships must schedule an interview or submit a 500-word personal statement describing why they wish to apply. Non-paid, but provide the opportunity to work and write for a national magazine, and they will work with you and the Carleton History department chair to help you get college credit for your experience with them. The NASA History Division sponsors internships for undergraduate and graduate students year-round. Unpaid position, 3 months, flexible hours. Hands on introduction to the field of local history and non-profit work, and help to build your own contacts and personal interests.
