    • http://wordreference.com/ This is an good resource for all levels of Spanish speakers. It serves as dictionary between Spanish-English and English-Spanish. It also has a Spanish-only-dictionary, thesaurus, and verb conjugation page.
    • http://rae.es/rae.html This is a Spanish-only-dictionary established by the Real Academia de Espanol. It is an excellent dictionary for advanced language students.

    • Quia:  a website for practicing grammar, vocabulary, and a host of other useful things. You can find practice quizzes and online practice exercises for a host of languages including French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Russian, Greek, Hebrew, and even Danish, Dutch, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, and Turkish to name a few. To access this website go to www.quia.com and click on "Quia Web." Don't be fazed by the username and password requirement - you don't need either! By simply clicking on shared activities near the bottom right of the page you will have access to these great resources for free! Simply do a search for whatever it is you are looking for or feel like practicing.
    • Conjuguemos: A nice website for practicing verbs, grammar and vocabulary in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The demo mode of this website is free, and will allow you to take quizzes or do short online games to help you practice your foreign language. To access this websitego to www.conjuguemos.com and click on the language of your choice in the left-hand column. The website is very straightforward and easy to use, even letting you choose a selection of verbs to practice with and setting your own levels of difficulty.

Spanish Learning Resources

         This site offers a general review of Spanish material offered at Carleton in the Spanish classes 101, 102, and 103. Overall the review is well suited for those trying to brush up on their Spanish skills.

         This site offers online flashcards that have been posted for Carleton Spanish classes 101,102, and 204 by multiple Carleton professors, and it offers a wide variety of flashcards on other subjects.

Studying Spanish Abroad

         The Peru program is offered through Carleton College for students who have taken through Spanish 204.

         The Madrid program is also offered through Carleton College for students who have taken Spanish 205 or other upper level courses.

         There are multiple other programs to various Spanish-speaking countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Ecuador and many more.
