November 16, 2009Join linguists and friends on Tuesday evenings for a movie! All viewings will take place in Goodsell 03 at 8:15p. Popcorn and soda are provided.
The final linguistics movie night of the fall term will be Tuesday, November 17. The movie is 'Atlantis: The Lost Empire', a 2001 Disney animated film featuring a linguist as its protagonist. Our hero, Milo, discovers the lost civilization of Atlantis and learns Atlantean, a language created for the film by real life linguist Dr. Marc Okrand.
