I'm finishing up my third year at the University of Minnesota. I recently received my MA in linguistics here, and now I'm working on the PhD. My MA paper is called "Toward the perfect syllable and beyond: Nasality and Nasal spreading in GuaranĂ." Along with this, I am also researching phonological acquisition with my advisor, Dr. Ben Munson. I'm TAing for beginning-level courses in introductory linguistics and sociolinguistics. In my free time, I play the recorder with an early music ensemble on campus. If you are interested in coming to the U of M for a visit or just want an idea of what grad school is like, feel free to send me an email: kaisere@airpost.net.
