Jen Krafft '10

I graduated in 2010 with a special major in Japanese Linguistics, completed with courses in both Linguistics and Japanese. My comps project focused on the relationship between phonology and syntax in the rendaku voicing phenomenon in Japanese. As a process that is both very well researched and very incompletely explained, it was a great jumping off point to think more about the field of linguistics.

I am currently working as a Coordinator for International Relations in Kyoto, Japan on the JET Programme, where my focus is on translation and international exchange.
