After graduating in 2010 with a major in linguistics, I was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship for the 2010-11 academic year to teach English at the college level in Vietnam.  I've found my background in linguistics to be really helpful in learning Vietnamese and teaching English as a foreign language.  In Fall 2011, I'll begin a master's program in Higher Education at the University of Oxford.  I'm especially interested in the internationalization of higher education and language issues in education.
