I graduated with a Linguistics BA in 2009. My first summer out of college I worked for the RosettaStone Endangered Language Program, editing software for the Inupiaq Language spoken in Alaska. After that I worked in Minneapolis as the staff linguist for Ultralingua, a company which makes dictionaries and language resources for various platforms including the iPhone. My favorite part of the job was working on a free Haitian Creole-English medical dictionary after the crisis in January. I finished work in the spring because I got a Peace Fellowship that allowed me to study Russian at Middlebury over the summer. Next year I will be teaching English at The American Home in Vladimir, Russia. I am particularly interested in minority/endangered languages and will probably end up in grad school at some point. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have!!
