SMP Students in the Math Skills Center

The Carleton College Summer Mathematics Program for Women is an NSF-funded program run by faculty members Deanna Haunsperger and Steve Kennedy, which is aimed at encouraging and supporting women in their study of mathematics.
In this photo, students in the program work together in the Math Skills Center on several knotty problems, with the help of Program Professor Erica Flapan.
