The Off-Campus Studies office strongly encourages students to consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance on international travel for upcoming programs in light of the H1N1 pandemic. Trip cancellation insurance should cover the cost of airfare in the event that you need to cancel or postpone your trip due to H1N1 or other illness as well as quarantine and other costs associated with becoming ill while abroad. There are many policies on the market. We have reviewed and can recommend Travel Guard as one option.
